He seethed with anger over his failure.
How could this happen?.He had planned so perfectly.
He could have gotten what he wanted if not for that other one. She spoiled it totally.But,he did manage to stop her from talking, didn’t he?.He kept roaming in his room like a wounded lion.
His want was slowly changing to need. I need her. He thought. No matter how many come in the middle, I need her. This time it’s going to be perfect. He thought. He closed his eyes and started to dream , his favourite dream where it was only him and her..

Episode 3:
Day 1: 11.30 AM
Anu was busy in the OP ward when she got that call from her Mom.
“Yes mom, tell me. I am busy. Well I was in the theatre. So what?, you got me now right?”
“yes..I am here, tell me.”
“What? When?”,she caught hold of a bedpost nearby to balance her shaking body. Her hand holding the syringe started trembling.
“How ? I mean where is she taken to? Has she been taken?”
“You mean here?”
“Oh,God.. Ok. Mom..Mom listen..I gotta go. I’ll call back again ok.”She couldn’t move a muscle. She just stood there transfixed. She was totally shaken.
“kamala , can you manage here?”she pulled her colleague to a corner and asked.
“Well… I suppose..I can, why? what happened?”Kamala couldn't say anything else looking at her colleague's tear screened face.
“Do..Do you know Priya?”
“ Who ? That intern beauty queen Priya?”
“Yeah.”
“ what about her? Something wrong?”
“She is dead.”
“Dead?”
Anu shook her head “ Possibly brought to our mortuary for autopsy. I just wanna be there. Can you take over?”
“Wait wait..wait ? Are you saying that you want to watch your friend being dissected? Are you crazy?”
“No kamala. I am not. I have to be there. I need to know what happened”. She left her confused looking colleague gaping at her and reached for the lift.
The stale odor of cheap disinfectant mixed with the odor of the formaldehyde lingered freely in the hallway leading to the mortuary. That is the warning for those who enter the mortuary about what lay waiting for them.
Anu always felt an invisible hand gripping all over her, whenever she entered this passage. What is it? Death? She hurried along leaving behind an echo of her shoe heels.
Senior doctor Sivanesan was already there, getting ready for the ritual.
Anu went in wiping her face clean with the back of her hand. The oblong room was dry and cool and blinked with dull lighting except for the bright overhead lights over the autopsy table. The walls were a checker board of refrigerated body boxes oozing out dramatic smoke of cold air. Many of the bodies were still lying on the floor without enough space, wrapped up in white as a return gift for it’s creator.
Anu shakily prepared herself for the procedure and went near the table.This time it is going to be different. But she had to endure this too. She closed her eyes and tried to brace herself from emotions. When she opened her eyes, she looked void of emotions, just what is necessary for this.
The body was already there.
The body, The once bright and bubbly girl whose smile lit a dark room was now a body.
Anu was always amazed at how the absence of life transformed the body. It always looked..well it looked dead.
She went closer and held her breath. Oh God. She didn’t expect it would be like this.
